The Brickfans-Rhein-Main had decided in December 2016 to participate in the Hessentag 2017 in Rüsselsheim with a LEGO® exhibition. Among other things, large models, such as my Market Church, were to be exhibited. But I had already been able to show it to the audience on other occasions and so I decided to create another model. What was closer than to choose the new Wiesbadener City Hall.
6 months of work were not enough to complete the model. So I showed “only” the main building without back wall on the Hessentag. The roof was held by some Duplo® columns, allowing a view into the interior from the backside. The visitors liked it anyway. Only after another 10 months I was able to finish the building. Just in time to present it to the Wiesbaden audience in my own exhibition in the foyer of the city hall.
